How does smartlipo differ from liposuction?

SmartLipo™ “We do not perform the traditional ‘jerk and poke’ lipo-suction. Rather, we use a cutting-edge technique recently approved by the FDA in March of 2007. Because we use no general anesthetics, it is not necessary to put the patient to sleep or on a respirator; thus, the risk of complications is vastly reduced.
This body-sculpting procedure is much less traumatic to the body, therefore, clients don’t have as much bruising and swelling. Instead of the usual two week post-operative time, they generally have a two day recovery. In addition, the procedure is much less expensive than the traditional method. The selling point of this procedure, however, is that the fat is not only removed, but the skin is actually tightened by the laser. This is what allows us to “sculpt” the body. By combining the various cosmetic techniques and wellness treatments offered at the clinic, the doctors want to help their clients live the best lives they can.

How does Silouette Lift differ from traditional face lifts?

In the Silhouette® Lift procedure is much less invasive than a traditional face lift. As a result, it only requires local anesthesia so there is much less risk and no recovery due to the general anesthesia that is required for a facelift. Facelift threads are inserted through tiny incisions under the skin to pull up sagging brows, cheeks, jowls or the neck. The threads can lift, shape and support sagging facial tissue for natural-looking, lasting results. An exciting "side effect" of the procedure is the possibility of improved results over time; as collagen builds and bunches around the threads the skin may be plumped and lifted further. This new procedure is popular among younger patients who choose to lift just the brow or cheeks to fight the earliest signs of aging. The Silhouette® Lift is less invasive than traditional face and brow lift surgery. It requires less operating room time and recovery is much quicker. And the final difference is that a Silhouette Lift is much less expensive than a facelift.
